About Deal Asan
Deal Asan is Pakistan's Largest Online Real Estate Portal, connecting buyers with sellers both within and outside the country. The platform was the brainchild of two British Pakistani entrepreneur brothers, Zeeshan Ali Khan and Imran Ali Khan, whose mission was to make Pakistani real estate accessible and convenient for everyone.
Together, they led Deal Asan from a small startup to the premier real estate entity of Pakistan. Deal Asan started its first funding round in 2012, which constituted several angel investors and substantial investment from venture capital firms. A further two rounds of major investment were closed in late 2015 and early 2016, bringing in a total of $29 million.

Pakistan's real estate market, one of the largest economic sectors in the country, lacked a unified, transparent, and technology-driven platform for property transactions. Buyers, sellers, and agents relied heavily on word-of-mouth, newspaper listings, and fragmented local broker networks. This created significant friction and inefficiency across every stage of the property journey.
Core Market Gaps Identified:
• No centralized digital portal aggregating property listings for homes, plots and commercial spaces across Pakistani cities.
• Real estate agents and estate agencies had no reliable digital channel to showcase inventory or connect with buyers remotely.
• Pakistani diaspora abroad (particularly in the UK) had no safe, verifiable platform to invest in or rent property back home.
• Buyers lacked objective data on area prices, property conditions, and reputable agents — leading to fraud and uninformed decisions.
• The market had over 1,500+ active properties across multiple cities with no single point of discovery for buyers.
Preesoft Engineering Systems identified this gap as a high-impact digital transformation opportunity and partnered with Deal Asan to build a mobile-first, scalable real estate platform designed for the realities of the Pakistani market including Urdu language support, local area taxonomies (societies, phases, blocks) and agent-centric workflows.

Approach
Preesoft adopted an agile, discovery-first methodology to design and deliver the Deal Asan mobile application. The team conducted deep stakeholder discovery sessions with the Deal Asan founders to understand the existing business processes, user pain points, and the technical landscape. The approach was centered on three strategic pillars:

Responsive design principles ensuring cross-platform consistency. Urdu language onboarding and locale-aware UI built for Pakistan's diverse user base.

- Full estate agent registration with profile (Estate Name), Property Management dashboard for Sell & Rent listings, and in-app messaging with buyers.
- Favourites module with heart icon saving, accessible from the bottom navigation bar, giving buyers a personal shortlist to revisit at any time.
- A granular location taxonomy: City Society (hundreds of housing schemes) Block/Phase, with searchable modal dropdowns and pre-loaded data.
- Real-time in-app Inbox with search functionality enabling direct, documented buyer-to-agent conversations per property listing.
- A fully digital, mobile-first platform accessible globally, with detailed property info, photo/video uploads, and transparent agent profiles.
- Push notification system integrated with Firebase, alerting agents and buyers of new matches, messages, and platform updates in real-time.
- In-app Feedback & Reviews module allowing users to submit structured ratings and comments, supporting continuous quality improvement.
